Chef, restaurant owner, cookbook author
Sally Voltaire is a creative chef who cooks according to what nature has to offer. With a restaurant-owning chef for a mother and a food photographer for a father, Sally was practically raised in a kitchen. And even though she is still young, she has had plenty of time to develop her own innovative food philosophy, with an emphasis on the green kitchen.
The mostly vegetarian restaurant Sally Voltaire & Systrar is her baby, and it is housed in a big department store in downtown Stockholm. Her cookbook Sally Voltaire’s Food was published in 2015; she also writes recipes for and is a contributing editor to several Swedish magazine food columns. Sally can be seen cooking on camera for the morning show on Sweden’s largest television network. She won Best New Health Concept at Sweden’s Restaurant Awards.
